Nestled between some pretty industrial warehouses in PJ, you'll find Hyprground—so parking here is at your own risk. We parked next to a container trailer!

From the outside, it’s quite unassuming, but step inside and you'll find a converted warehouse that houses seven indoor courts. Four of these are VIP courts, offering more space, separating nets, and a private lounge area for your group as they wait their turn. The remaining three are social courts, placed closer together with no separating nets—just small portable barriers near the net posts. They're perfectly fine for casual games, but don't expect to pull off any ATPs here. Also, returning deep shots will land you in the wall or the net depending on which side you're taking.

The branding and color choices are certainly unique, though visibility can be challenging. The regular yellow balls don't stand out well against the terracotta courts and especially the beige background of the kitchen, and with undiffused lighting, tracking the ball can be tough.

We only played at the social courts and unsure if VIP courts are any different, but the court flooring was so-so. There were definitely times when the ball just bounced strangely and the surface of the court was a bit uneven. I don't think it's full tennis style coating, maybe just a few coats above a concrete base layer as the rough concrete was still visible in places.

Being a converted warehouse, it does get quite hot and stuffy, and during our visit, we experienced a bit of a sewage smell lingering in the social court area. There is a viewing gallery and lounge above the VIP courts, but it seemed unused—likely because of the heat and humidity.

Unfortunately, during our visit, the fridge was broken, so we missed out on sampling the cold coconuts.

Overall, this would be a great place for small open plays, and really like the fact that the founders went above and beyond the typical pickleball warehouse look with the interior design and colour choices.
