Bread & Butter is a family-run brand from Florida, started by Doug Sapusek in 2022. Their spec sheets say "Tequila Sold Separately", and their staff bios involve a wild boar and a rare iguana.

Then reviewers got their hands on the Loco. Pickleheads named it their 2025 Paddle of the Year, and Pickleball Studio called its review "More Impressive than I Expected". In 2026 Selkirk bought the brand and kept the family designing the paddles.
