Which Flick Weight is best for you?

🧠 Finding the Right Flick Weight

Choosing the right Flick Weight is about more than just paddle specs — it’s about how you play with it. The perfect weight depends on your swing speed, paddle shape, and play style, which makes weight selection a personal choice.

These recommendations are based on swing weight data and common paddle characteristics, but they’re not one-size-fits-all. A setup that works for someone else may not feel right for you.

Bottom line:
Most people play better when adding weight to the handle, if that isn't your experience, try a different weight, or simply remove the Flick Weight! We make it simple so you can focus on your game.

🔹 3g–9g

Flick Weights are best for paddles with Swing Weights <116

Perfect for resets, finesse, and fast reaction time at the net.

Paddle Examples:

  1. CRBN Tru Foam 2x – Excellent balance and fast hand speed, light swing weight (113).
  2. Bread and Butter Invader – Lower swing weight (116) and quick off the bounce.
  3. Joola Scorpeous – Classic speed paddle with a low swing weight (114).

🔸 6g–18g

Paddle Examples:

  1. JOOLA Ben Johns Perseus Pro IV – Popular paddle with good weight balance and feel (117) swing weight.
